Naturalist Hikes in Ouray

Are you interested in connecting with the landscapes of Ouray? Do you desire more knowledge of the regional plants and animals that inhabit the San Juans? Or do you simply wish for a fun and engaging exploration that you can share with your family? On May 2 from 10am – 2pm, join San Juan Mountains Association on our free, interpretive hike to explore our winter landscape and reveal how a little sun can make life in winter a whole lot easier. We will compare and contrast shady North Slopes with other “sunnier” hillsides in the Ouray Valley.
Groups will meet at the Ouray Visitor Center at 9:00 a.m on May 2.
